Default Changing from Fibre to Alloy

Folks,

We have been using a fibre poled vis-a-vie tent for a while now. Its a fine tent, apart from the poles. With it being such a big tent the joining tube inbetween each section of the poles gets caught a lot. So we thought hows about getting some alloy poles to make like easier (TM).

Has anyone done this sort of upgrade for a vis-a-vie tent?

Cheers
