We are contemplating a visit with the motorhome this year (first time) and,
from their Web site, see that they have a number of overnight pitches but
with no advance reservation facilities.

Would appreciate any info from those of have been before regarding the
availability of pitches when arriving mid-week, or any other tips.

Its a fantastic set up, German organisation at its best, your are all lined
up in rows (you don't pick they tell you where to park) all buses are free
to the show and back there is even free buses to and from Dusseldorf centre.
Try not to get parked near to the on site bar unless you want to join in
with the Bavarian dancing till the early hours.

What people don't realise is that just working round the camping platz is an
experience in itself, campers from all over Europe the good bad ugly and
weird saw a Hymer S900 last year lined up.

Enjoy it and don't worry about getting a space there are people coming and
going all the time.

David.
