Default Replacing windows with sliding ones

Hello group

My Dad is thinking of replacing one of the 'caravan type' windows on
his Autoroller motorcarvan with a sliding one. Does anyone have any
advice for him about how big a DIY job this would be, and any possible
advantages/disadvantages of making this change?

The present problem is that the windows stick out sideways when
parked.

Thanks in advance

Paul

send your aperture sizes to www.caravanparts.net They have alot of Seitz
sliding windows that are surplus stock, and will be half the normal retail
prices
