Canada RV Rental by Budgie
We will be visiting friends in Toronto this year. An alternative to a 4-day flight and hotel deal might be to rent an RV for 10/14 days and do Niagara etc, as well. My better half can only walk around 100 yds without a wheelchair. Has anyone any experience/recommendations for rental companies or package deals, preferably bookable in the UK? -- Budgie

ALKO by ForeverArsenal
Hi. Happy new year to all. Can anyone advise. Recently changed towing vehicle which is already fitted with towbar and ball (normal type). There are several inches clearance between towball and bodywork of car, more than enough space to take the 1300kg hitch.

Caravan park book for UK ? by Badger1954
Hello and Merry Christmas, A friend has asked if there is a book that covers UK campsites. She has made enquiries here (Australia) but can't find one. She does not have a laptop so won't be able to access the internet while travelling in the UK next year (in their 60's and not into internet cafes). So, does anyone know the name of such a book, and maybe catalong number. Cheers again,

astra diesel towcar by howie
Hi,good wishs to you all. as previously mentioned we intend to change the car early this coming year.We have a 1600 - 8 valve petrol astra 2001 and intended to upgrade it anyway. Two things ive noticed is a lack of power on hills and the drinking of petrol as we tow the van(1100 kgs).Otherwise im quite pleased with it. Due to the size of the garage im not sure a bigger car will fit ,so i was...

SsangYong Rexton by Gerry
If you drive a Rexton why not make comments on the SsangYong Rexton UK group, I am just trying to build up a support group for owners, as a body we can help keep the brand strong and give the owners a little more power like other model users. Gerry

Baltic Coast of Poland. by Dave D
Last year we went east beyond Berlin to the border with Poland and cycled into Poland and the Czech Republic. This has given us the urge to go further next spring and I have been looking at the northern coast of Poland. We want to have a look at Peenemunde in Germany where the rocket that got our house in 1944 came from but after that venturing into Poland to perhaps Gdansk and Elblag. ...

anybody got any comments on the new Zafira ? by DAz
hi all, just wondered if anybody has had a chance to drive/tow with the new zafira yet ?, I'm thinking of replacing my 2004 Kia Sedona 2.9 diesel auto for the new Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 CDTi SRi (150) auto, but I can't help thinking back to the HUGE problems Vauxhall had with 2.0tdi in particular high pressure pumps failing at mid-mileage, I know a new zafira comes with 3years warranty, but...

Freeview TV by Budgie
Thinking of getting a 15-inch LCD Freeview digital TV for the van. Do these work ok on the latest Status aerials? Obviously it will depend on the transmitter signal strength - hopefully weak area sites will have TV points at the electric pillar (we stay mostly at CC sites). -- Budgie NB Reply to newsgroup.
