Cost of Electric Hook Up by
Jim Lacey
I've just read the previous thread regarding hook up costs. We've just
spent a week on a Forest Holiday site in Scotland and the pitch fees
for low season we
Basic site - £11
Pitch with hook up and/or hardstanding - £16
As they insisted that they didn't have basic pitches the actual cost
was £16.

electricity charges by
A Plumber
Hi All,
My friend has recently stayed on a site in Durham, and each hook up had it's
own meter, I've never seen this before, and apparently it is illegal since
2003
to sell electricity at a higher cost that you paid for it.regulated by
ofcom, and the owner read the meter before he hooked up and again when he
left.
The cost of my friends electric for the weekend was £0.80p.
The owner of the...

Noise from generators - measuring. by
Tim[_7_]
Probably been discussed before but.....I have been looking for adult
only cls which are not very common around say Cambridge but having
found one you then discover no hook ups.Looking on ebay you can now
buy small generators 650 to 850 watt average for under £100. I hate
noise so wouldnt inflict it on others so need to know/ understand what
the noise figs they quote equate to. So when they say...

Novice seeks help & guidance by
wibble1001
We recently became proud owners in Italy of a Roller 405 Progres on a family patch of land. I think the caravan is about 20 years old, but we saw it recently and stayed in it for a couple of days.
http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o190/wibble1001/DSCF6354.jpg
Now my wife and I know nothing (as yet) about caravans - but even without water, gas and electricity - we had a lot of fun in the...

Still looking for parts for an abi monza by
les[_2_]
The parts Im looking for are 2 front grab handles plus the side name
plate that wraps onto the handles.
My van is a 390-2 mk 2 and the side plates have 390-2 printed on them
but I understand that other monza's have the same grab handles and
side name plates eg: the 450s.
So at a pinch they would do.
Thanks

Very Pedantic Question by
hugh
Well it is very quiet in here these days.
I saw someone today with his caravan on the road not hitched to a
vehicle, and obviously fitted with a caravan mover. The guy was stood on
the pavement and was moving the van with the remote control.
So at that point does the van cease to be a trailer and become an
electrically powered vehicle and thus needing to meet all the
requirements of such a...

anyone used bondrite weld on acrylic window cracks by
les[_2_]
Had real difficulty getting hold of a secondhand window and been
recommended bondrite weld cement:
http://www.bondrite.co.uk/weld-cements/acrylic-weld-cement-250ml-kit/prod_79.html
has anyone used it or advise on how to hold the cracked edges
together?
Its on a double grazed unit and the crack is on the inside so its
watertight
