I would place this site very high on my list of "Commercial sites" I have
been using this site for about 15 years now and return about 2-3 times per
year. IMHO in manages to maintain "some" degree of peace and quiet for a
commercial site set amongst a water park. The site has entertainment galor,
a goos bar and restaurant. A maginificant leisure pool( indoor) with free
sauna and steam room. Also a recently refubished outside pool area. The
whole complex including bar and familly entertainment area are no smoking.
However a terrace is provided under cover with patio heaters for any drug
addicts wishing to kill themselves on installments.
There is a well stocked shop, laudrry etc. The Royal Oak in the local
village of South Cerney provides good food. The caravan pitches are well
away from the club and the noise is kept down to a minimum. However you will
get noise at closing time. It is a familly site and comes with kids, and a
club so if you expect deadly quiet you will not get it. The wasahrooms are
starting to look dated now but are clean and heated, with loads of free hot
water. Super pitches are not that super all you get is a gravel hardstanding
for awning, and a pitch near a tap.

Beware when booking there is a noisy road at the top of B field so request
to be away from this. The park is at the entrance to the touring pitch so
avoid it. Try to get a pich about half way down about midway between A & B
field backing onto the lodges. The TV reseption is terrible on the whole
park. However there is TV in the Heron lounge for the kids, and also in the
Adults bar.

I have uploaded some pice take a look
