Default Regritting Carver Motor Mover Rollers?

Does anybody know of an effective way (i.e works and is cheaper than
paying 50 quid for a new pair of rollers) of regritting carver motor
mover rollers?

If you have the red type its worth a call to Carver customer services. Mine
went when out of warranty and without accepting responsibility they fixed me
up with free replacements.
Otherwise it did occour to me that criss cross runs of weld might be worth a
try.

Have a look here http://www.prosol.co.uk/prosol_fset.php

Under 'MOT Essentials' they do a brake roller re-gritting kit, its 41
but will do about 4 rollers & the grit is more robust than on the
original rollers.
