Default Campsites in North East

Try Riverside at Wooler.....in Northumberland..

it has river with free fishing (the waters low at the moment.....something
to do with the glorious weather me thinks!) - they have a trout pond for fly
fishing.

They have a heated swimming pool at no charge.....pub with bar for
adults...entertainments room with artists on....

Excellent site.....shop/showers facilities/elec/washing & ironong room for
the ladies (he he!)

Nearby......Berwick upon Tweed.......Alnwick..(Harry Potter castle).....Holy
Island

Very Reasonable too....

Ask for pitch 19.....

Great stuff

Dave

Can anyone recommend any child friendly sites in North East -
Durham/Northumberland/Teesdale/Weardale

Preferably with childrens playgound/stream for the kids (7 & 11).
Near a pub - for me.
With good showers etc. for the missus.

ta

Les.
