Default Norway Campsite - personal belongings safekeeping

Hello:

While visiting Oslo and Bergen I will be staying at campsites in my tent.

How do you secure your belongings while you are away from the campsite?

Does these sites have lockers or storage rooms?

Is there an extra charge for this service?

Is the tent safe from theft leaving it up during the day while you are away?

Thanks for your replies.

You could buy some lockable tent pegs? That'd prevent the tent being
nicked.

That's a joke, right ?

There a great idea, invented by a bloke from Burnley I think (local
knowledge!).

Two pegs are inserted at 45 degs to the ground to create a right angle where
they are locked together. The pegs are about a foot long. Only way to get
them out would be to dig round them!!

Good for locking your bike down in absence of a handy lamp post!

I have nothing to do with them, but you can get them on ebay at the
following shortened link

Cheers

Andy

I've got these and they really work. Obviously if someone really wants to
get into your tent and they don't mind looking suspiscious crawling
underneath or cutting a hole in it, they don't do much good.
However they are, I'm sure, a deterant.
