Default Campsite on the Beach

hi,
I'm looking for a campsite which is on the waters edge ( either sea or big
lake) which is in a 150 mile radius from Preston ,Lancs
Any ideas?

There is a nice one at Port Eyenon on the gower.

There's lots. Why not get an Ordinance Survey map for the area that you
fancy and look for the tent symbols next to lakes/sea.

Default Campsite on the Beach

Shell Island (Llanbedr, nr. Harlech) is good, gets busy but great sand
dunes, sunsets, and pub, need to cross the water when tide is out to get to
the island which is interesting.

Camp site between Capel Curig and Beddgelert, next to small lake, allows
canoes, right at the base of Snowdon.

Coniston Hall Campsite, next to Lake Coniston in the lakes is OK. There's
another on a lake up near Keswick, again in the Lake district.

There's a few in Morfa Bychan near Porthmadog near to Black Rock sands
beach, good beach, fairly basic campsites.

There are more...
