Default Hawker Sealed Batteries

Does anyone have any experience of Hawker Batteries and their suitability as
a leisure battery. I'm thinking of fitting two 12v SBS60's 51ah each on the
van. They are normally used in uninteruptable psu's.

Any thoughts

Steve

I can't comment on that particular make but in general leisure
batteries are designed for repeated deep discharge / charge cycles and
ups for constant tirickle charging in fully charged state. You may
find that the ups batteries have a short life on the deep discharge
cycle.
