Default Shepton mallet show.

Just came back from the RSV and Motor home show at Shepton mallet,
Camped for three of the four days,
Not a bad show though not many manufactures attended and what there
were was very repetitive.
[ Seen one you know the rest]
Side stalls were glorious with everything one could imagine and a lot
one could not,
What with a there and then fitting service, Simple marvelous.
The night time shows were awful the venues being to large as were the
disgusting prices of the drinks 3.50 for a pint of draft Guinness,
Ouch! I kid you not.
Most of the weekend campers seemed content to lounge about in the sun
hardly visiting the stalls having already sussed what they needed and
content to relax whilst it was installed. Lovely.
One tribute though the firework display was absolutely marvelous and
worth the modest weekend camping fee of 30 great value.
I came home on the Sunday although it was possible to stay until
midday Monday.
Good or bad ? On the whole bad, Why ? The evening entertainment, Bar
prices, And lack of support from the major manufactures, Shame really
ow well.
Wallbike.

Last Sunday on the way back from hols in Bavaria visited Caravan Salon
at Dusseldorf well worth the visit except one day at the show was not
enough time to visit all 13 halls, also turned out to be very
expensive as we have taken the plunge and are ordering a motorhome.
Gone for a Hymer Tramp 654SL Gold Edition appeared to be the best
value at the show.
Camping there reasonable 15 for 2 nights full facilities free
entertainment evening meal 8 not like rip off Britain.
