Clean connections.

Ensure connection is tight fitting: slightly splay pins of 12N socket
connection and/or slightly squash female part of a 'Lucar' connection.
Ensure that wire retaining screws are tight.

Spray connection with WD40 to discourage future corrosion.

How old are your van and pump?

If WD40 doesn't work and slightly bending or splaying the contacts
doesn't work then maybe you will have to replace the pump connector
and/or the socket on the van.
