Default radio in caravan

i've got a car radio in the van which mostly doesn't work and then i et a
spark from an exposed wire on to the casing all the lights come on for a
second . any suggestions as to getting the radio to work

Yes indeed. And all the other supplies that go in and out of a modern
car radio - aerial drive supply, phone mute, switched 12v, unswitched
12v. If you are not using them make sure they are taped up and out of
the way.
