I have been away from this site for some months and as with the great
majority or the newsgroup users fine what is going on here senseless and
frankly pointless. Rather like what this government are doing to this
country. Why do we need more people and more houses in an area where the
roads are choked now? another matter.
I have spent the last hour dealing with the majority of the fools but ask
one question?
How can I stop cross posting?

Well anyone who multi crossposts goes into the Block Sender list, along with
anyone who posts inciting negative reactions, this is working well.
Look at recent posts there is one giving complecated instructions on how to
stop crossposted posts. Did not set up correctly for me, think they might
be on a different Outlook Express version to me.

Look in your mail-box.
I haven't posted in the group as the post is a bit long.

Hi Ian,

If it works with Outlook Express 6, can you forward it to me? I'm supposed
to have the necessary filters in place but am still seeing garbage.

Ok we all agree zap cross poster's. But how do you tell that they are?

What
do you look for in the message?

I just look at the 'To' line and if too many NG's the sender gets 'Blocked'.

Download Xnews and use it.
http://xnews.newsguy.com/

In 'Special', 'Setup', 'Misc' specify 1 in this option:
'Kill articles crossposted to more than X newsgroups.'
