Default Electric Shower tripping MCB

can any one tell me where the supply voltage is allowed to vary

quote between +10% and -6%

also no one has mentioned Frequency - Hz.
or cable size and length

all of which have an influence in an AC circuit.........

Default Electric Shower tripping MCB

Variations of voltage....
I thought a couple of years ago it was +/- 10% for normal low voltage i.e.
below 440v
and this was reduced to +/- 6% in the last Electricity Supply Regulations.

The +/- 10% factor only came in for transmission voltages of 132Kv and
above.

The variations in Frequency has always been +/- 1% i.e. in the UK at
50Hz --49.5 to 50.5Hz

But being old and retired now I suppose that i could be wrong ??
