Temp cover hole with a plastic washing up bowel, drill a small hole in the

centre of the bottom of the bowel. Use wire or strong plastic string tie a
knot in the string or wrap wire around a screw poke the string or wire into
the hole get a piece of wood wider than the hole and tie the string or twist
wire around it so it holds it down on the roof. gun some silicon rubber into
the hole to make it water proof. and your done. Phone around local caravan
dealers with the dimensions of the hole and they, if it isn't in stock, will
order one for you.
Best of luck MikeS

Estate agent's plastic signs make excellent temporary roof lights.
Cut a piece several inches bigger in each direction, then stick a length of
batten on the underside, with a couple of cup hooks screwed into it, just
big enough to fit into the opening (attach with silicone, or similar
adhesive)
Then you can use some elastic/rubber bands etc (I used rings of old inner
tube) to attach it to the inside of the van somehow.
