Default Caravans banished to slow lane on M5

And that seems to be one of the most important educational
problems that needs to be solved. Everyone now seems to
think they have a divine right to get from Carlisle to Lands
End (or name your own choices of start and finish) in an
hour and a half without let or hindrance and that any
hindrance is someone else's fault. It affects all drivers
(I've done it myself, rushing around motorways at 90mph+,
perpetually late for the next meeting, cursing everyone who
gets in the way). So many drivers these days seem to view a
speed limit as the *minimum* speed they should be driving,
and anything that gets in their way should be banned as a
matter of course.

But I have slowed down (not least because the Jeep Cherokee
I bought specifically because it would be a good a tug is
`interesting' above 80mph compared to a Saab 9000) so I
leave early, and if it looks like I'm going to be late, I
have a mobile phone.
