Default Hi all

does anyone know of any sites in derbyshire where you can pitch your caravan
by a river, preferably shallow for the kids and dog, nice location more
important than site facilities

A few years ago I stayed on a site about 400yds upstream of Whatstandwell

bridge (River Derwent A6 South east of Matlock) The site was right by the
riverside and 2 pubs within walking distance.
Facilities not to good and TV reception crap.

Default Hi all

Try the Grouse and Claret at Rowsley (on the A6 between Matlock and
Bakewell).
Caravan site behind a pub. Side of the river - seen kids in the river
so it can't be too deep.
