Default landcruiser v 3.2 shogun as tow cars?

Looking for any positive or negative comments on a Toyota LC4 Landcruiser 3L
Diesel or 3.2 Shogun as possible towcars etc.

Any experiences with these vehicles you can share.

Also some Toyota swan neck towbar balls appear to have a black anodised
coating over them??? How do you get around this problem with the caravan
Alko 2003 stabiliser? Or is this not a problem?

Appreciate your comments please?

AE

They can both successfully tow just about any touring caravan that is on
sale in the UK (also true of the Isuzu Trooper and arguably some Land Rovers
too) - so I guess the difference between them is really down to other
factors.

Cheers
