UK Caravanning (uk.rec.caravanning) A forum for the discussion of caravanning undertaken by residents of the United Kingdom, whether in the UK or abroad. I'll try again.Has anybody had dealings with the GMEX caravan show in
January if so can you get a bargain,as in buying a new caravan.THx. T.R.

The Gmex show is staffed by local, and some not so local, dealers who are
working for themselves. Some manufacturers put on show deals, but to
discourage buyers from buying outwith their own area these deals are usually
also available to the dealer network as a whole.

You might find that a dealer at a show, desperate to get numbers on the
board, will offer a part exchange price (assuming you have a van right now)
that seems much better. When your new van arrives, the price for your van
may change, dramatically.
