Whitby Holiday Park (just south of the Abbey) has two signs outside.

One says 'Sorry, no tents'

The other says 'No Hobby Caravans (except by prior arrangement)'.

The other says 'No Hobby Caravans (except by prior arrangement)'.

They just want to hear your accent first. Make sure you use your best RP
when phoning up.

Christian.

Unfamiliar with the term "Hobby Van", don'tcha know, what?
Could someone please enlighten me.
