Hi,

Wondering if anyone tows with a Pajero Exceed 2.5ltr, and if so any
major issues eg overheating (should a twin fan fix this) etc.

Seen a excellent 2.5ltr one (full kit etc) and will be getting a 4 berth

Hi,
Have a look here for all good info
http://www.pocuk.com/forums.htm

then consider a 2.8 rather than a 2.5
the cam belt on 2.5 can and does cause bother (snapping) where the 2.8 is
chain driven.
also the bhp is greater on the 2.8 ,and a bit quicker off the mark. The
forum is FULL of good info to help you

I absolutely concur. POCUK has over 7000 members and there is a lot of
peer support. There's even a caravanning section. If you can, go for the
2.8 with electric fuel pump - it has even more power (140 bhp vs 125 bhp
for the mechanical fuel pump variety). However the 2.5 ekes a few more
mpg and will cost you a lot less than a 2.8. With the fuel price
differential, the V6 3000 petrol costs about the same to run as the 2.8
and you can pick up an early Mk 2 (same era as the 2.5) for less than a
2.8.

That said, please check out the forums on POCUK before buying.
