I tow with a Pug 406 estate, year 2000 110HDi diesel kerbside weight
1425kgs. The van is a Lunar Astara 392 with an actual laden weight of about
1000kg. Hill starts are no problem and on the road the car tows the van very
well. In fact so well that at times you can almost forget the van is there.
The only difficulty I have had has been reversing the outfit up wet grassy
slopes when wheel spin can be a problem. We would very much like to replace
the van for a larger model.

Is a van of 1350kgs, weight ratio 95%, likely to cause towing problems?

What weights are you pulling and what are your experiences please.
