Yup,

I presume you are looking for the date letter, 8th from the end.

System started in 1992 and mirrors the car chassis number letters exactly,
so

1992 = N
2001 + 1

Yup,

I presume you are looking for the date letter, 8th from the end.

System started in 1992 and mirrors the car chassis number letters exactly,
so

1992 = N
2001 + 1
