Do you need a special tow ball for an Alko hitch or will an ordinary one
suffice ?

Thanks in advance.

You need a special one that is 10mm further from the car and has a deeper
waisted area under the ball.

This is to allow movement of the enlarged hitch head.

Cheers

Have you got the Alko stabilizer?
If not they are useually in the box.
A dealer will ask you about 19, but look on Ebay you might find one
cheaper.
