Body Swapping a Romahome by steve

Auto-sleeper Trooper by Barleycorn
Hi all, We have just bought an Auto-sleeper Trooper, which is a rising roof tin tent based on the VW T4. We hope to use it as everyday transport, and were wondering if anyone who has one, or similar, has fitted an extra seat in front of the existing back seat / bed, to use when we are not touring. There seems to be plenty of room here, and easy access through the sliding side door. I was...

Fitting a Radio by Eric Rein
I recently purchased a Hymer based on a Fiat Ducato chassis that had the radio prepartion extra included. I also bought a new JVC radio. Behind the dash is an ISO connector that fits the radio but the connections are different. Does anyone know if an adaptor is available or do I need to rewire the ISO connector. Does anyone know what the connections on the Fiat ISO connector are? -Eric-

I am suffering from the dreaded waste tank pong coming up the sink/shower etc. There appears to be no U bends on the waste pipes. Is it practical or advisable to fit some? Ken

Hawker Sealed Batteries by steveC
Does anyone have any experience of Hawker Batteries and their suitability as a leisure battery. I'm thinking of fitting two 12v SBS60's 51ah each on the van. They are normally used in uninteruptable psu's. Any thoughts Steve

Scotland - end october, info please by steveC
I've been up around that area late on in the year and couldn't find any campsites open, even the ones that were supposed to be. Luckily the pub owners were very friendly (even had biscuits behind the bar for the dog) and let me stay on their car parks or showed me a nice safe quit spot to park up. You'll find most evrybody friendly though. North Berwick was really friendly reverting back to...

Unfortunately 90% brochures have no pictures of the area choosing to focus on the hotels and facilities instead (understandable, and who am i to...

12v Power Supply For LCD TV by steve
I've just bought a Philips 15" Lcd Tv for the camper. The 240v to 12v power supply that comes with it reads 12.1v on my meter (benkson). I want to be able to connect it directly to the vans 12v supply. Does anyone know of a readily available device to regulate the supply at 12v as I'm not to happy about shoving almost 14v up its backside. Steve
